The sisters, Małgorzata and Łucja, are brought together for the most important journey of their lives when Łucja accompanies the terminally ill Małgorzata to an assisted dying clinic in Switzerland. Each has a different purpose: Małgorzata wants to leave the world on her own terms, while Łucja hopes to convince her sister to change her mind and fight for her life.
