The town of Loitz [lø:ts] in Western Pomerania still bears the marks of German reunification. Through the eyes of both long-time and newly arrived residents, UNENDLICHER RAUM spends a year looking beyond the grey façade of a seemingly dying small town, questioning ideas of home and identity. When the desire for self-realisation meets vacant spaces, entire worlds begin to emerge on a small scale.
