THE SOLOISTS authentically explores the highs and lows of ten single parents while questioning traditional gender roles, patriarchal structures, and deeply rooted prejudices. The film examines how stereotypical images—including those inherited from the Nazi era—continue to shape our collective unconscious. Blending essayistic perspectives, monologues, dialogues, dance, opera, poetry, and humor, the film becomes an experimental work that provokes, unsettles, and inspires reflection. It challenges its audience, but ultimately offers reconciliation.
