Joana Mallwitz is a conductor, a profession still widely regarded as a male-dominated field. Recognized early on as an exceptional talent, she became Europe's youngest General Music Director before being appointed Chief Conductor of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin in August 2023.

The film follows her over two years on her journey to this milestone, capturing her debut performances in Munich, Paris, Salzburg, and Amsterdam. As her international career reaches a defining moment, she and her husband must also adapt to life as new parents following the birth of their first child.
