After years of struggling with the pain of an unfulfilled desire to have children, Maud and Frank set out on a journey through Chile in the hope of saving their relationship. But when an argument escalates, Maud continues the trip alone, with no particular destination in mind. Along the way, she meets Messi, a young Chilean boy, and the two begin travelling together across the country. Through this unexpected friendship, Maud gradually rediscovers herself, eventually finding peace and leaving behind the disappointments of the past years.
